About Margaret

Margaret is a single mother busy raising Max, 12, and Lauren, 10. She shares care of the children with her ex-partner, Steven. Margaret has tackled single life for more than four years and in that time has learnt much about putting her children first, getting along with her ex, assembling Ikea furniture and confronting arachnophobia. A couple of years ago she went a bit mad during a mid-life crisis, chucked in her 9-5 job and became a freelance writer and student. Life is good! 

Who am I?
I am a proud mum, a writer, a student, a devoted fish-owner and a fan of The Goodies and Get Smart. I'm not keen on anchovies, cricket or jellyfish (either on a plate or in the water), but I do like licorice allsorts, Boggle and Summer Heights High.

There are too many to just choose one! The Narnia series by C.S. Lewis were the first books I fell in love with, and I adore them still.

Hmmm, I don't watch much TV. Rove is good for some light entertainment.
